Inclusion/SEND

Inclusion sits at the heart of all we do at Hopping Hill.  We believe that all pupils are entitled to an education that enables them to achieve their best and become confident individuals living fulfilling lives.

We want every child to feel valued, understood and to have the opportunities to reach their true potential.  This is achieved through a commitment from our whole school team to meet individual needs and embrace a wide range of learning opportunities for all our children, with individual progress being our main indicator of success.

Teachers at Hopping Hill provide differentiated learning opportunities for all children and provide materials appropriate to children’s interests and abilities.  This ensures that all children have a full access to the school curriculum.

Should you have any concerns regarding your child’s progress or potential additional needs, please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance.

Our school SENDCo is Mrs Liz Doughty and can be contacted either via the school office or by email: liz.doughty@hoppinghill.northants.sch.uk

For further information, please see our Inclusion Policy which can be found on our ‘Information for Visitors’ page.

For those children who have been identified by their class teacher as benefitting from an Individual Education Plan, parents and carers can access this through a secure website:

https://edukeyapp.com/parent/login

This will take you to the parent/carer account login page where you will need to create an account and then enter the access code provided from school, this will then link your account to your child.

Identified children will have had this information shared with families by the Class Teacher or SENDCo.  Please do get in touch if you need any helping accessing your child’s plan.
